Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FGFR1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated FGFR1 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher FGFR1 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FGFR1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as STAD and MESO show a favorable association.

LUAD, UCEC, and SKCM are the cancer types where FGFR1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
