Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FGFBP2 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated FGFBP2 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher FGFBP2 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FGFBP2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
HNSC and GBM are the cancer types where FGFBP2 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
