Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FGF2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated FGF2 data layer compared with 15 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where higher FGF2 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FGF2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
STAD and PRAD are the cancer types where FGF2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
