Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FGF19 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated FGF19 data layer compared with 20 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher FGF19 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FGF19 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
HNSC are the cancer types where FGF19 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
