Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FGF14 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated FGF14 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where higher FGF14 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FGF14 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
ESCA, SKCM, and UCEC are the cancer types where FGF14 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
