Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FGD5-AS1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 20 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated FGD5-AS1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher FGD5-AS1 RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FGD5-AS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRC and READ show a favorable association.

KIRC, LIHC, and READ are the cancer types where FGD5-AS1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
