Across TCGA patient cohorts, FGB protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 14,352 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible FGB-associated genes across cancer lineages are IL6, SLC2A3, and FLT1. Each is linked with FGB in more than 9 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both FGB-to-partner and partner-to-FGB results are reported.
