Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FDPSP7 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 7 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of FDPSP7’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), where FDPSP7 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types FDPSP7 is over-expressed in tumor.

KIRP, HNSC, and UCEC are the cancer types where FDPSP7 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
