Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FCER1A Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated FCER1A data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher FCER1A Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FCER1A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.
LUSC, LGG, and SARC are the cancer types where FCER1A Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
