Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FCAR RNA is linked to patient survival in 25 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated FCAR data layer compared with 3 for mutation status and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uveal melanoma (UVM), where higher FCAR RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FCAR expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD and SKCM show a favorable association.
UVM, LUSC, and THCA are the cancer types where FCAR RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
