Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FCAR Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated FCAR data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in thymoma (THYM), where higher FCAR Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FCAR expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.
THYM, HNSC, and SKCM are the cancer types where FCAR Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
