Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FBXO47 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 8 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of FBXO47’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where FBXO47 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types FBXO47 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as KICH and THCA show the opposite, repressed pattern.

LUAD, KICH, and LUSC are the cancer types where FBXO47 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
