Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FBXO3 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated FBXO3 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in small cell lung cancer (SCLC), where higher FBXO3 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FBXO3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
SCLC, UCEC, and HNSC are the cancer types where FBXO3 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
