Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FBXL22 RNA is linked to patient survival in 23 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated FBXL22 data layer compared with 1 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where higher FBXL22 RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FBXL22 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as ESCA and KIRC show a favorable association.

ESCA, KIRC, and UCS are the cancer types where FBXL22 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
