Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FBRS Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated FBRS data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher FBRS Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FBRS expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as COAD and UCEC show a favorable association.
HNSC, LIHC, and COAD are the cancer types where FBRS Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
