Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FAU Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated FAU data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in cervical squamous cell carcinoma and endocervical adenocarcinoma (CESC), where higher FAU Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FAU expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
CESC, SKCM, and COAD are the cancer types where FAU Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
