Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FAT3 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 11 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated FAT3 data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher FAT3 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FAT3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM and UCEC show a favorable association.
BLCA, UVM, and ESCA are the cancer types where FAT3 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
