Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FAT1P1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated FAT1P1 data layer.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where higher FAT1P1 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FAT1P1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM and COAD show a favorable association.
LIHC, SKCM, and BLCA are the cancer types where FAT1P1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
