FASN

mutation — cross-omics
Cross-omicsMUTATION → RNACell-linePairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA cell cohorts, FASN mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 1,766 significant associations in total. LARGE_INTESTINE shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible FASN-associated genes across cancer lineages are VPS37D, TATDN3, and DBR1. Each is linked with FASN in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both FASN-to-partner and partner-to-FASN results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, VPS37D grouped by FASN-low versus FASN-high in BLOOD_Leukemia.

mutation associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (FASN→partner) and Y-score (partner→FASN) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
