Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FANK1-AS1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 9 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated FANK1-AS1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where higher FANK1-AS1 RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FANK1-AS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as ESCA show a favorable association.

ESCA, STAD, and OV are the cancer types where FANK1-AS1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
