Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FAN1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated FAN1 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher FAN1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FAN1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUSC, HNSC, and LIHC are the cancer types where FAN1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
