Across TCGA patient cohorts, FAM8A1 RNA expression is significantly associated with the protein abundance of many other proteins, with 13,302 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible FAM8A1-associated proteins across cancer lineages are CSTA, GLO1, and DOK3. Each is linked with FAM8A1 in more than 5 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both FAM8A1-to-partner and partner-to-FAM8A1 results are reported.
