Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FAM89B Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated FAM89B data layer compared with 20 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in prostate adenocarcinoma (PRAD), where higher FAM89B Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FAM89B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
PRAD are the cancer types where FAM89B Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
