FAM86C2P

RNA & survival
SurvivalRNAKaplan–Meier · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FAM86C2P RNA is linked to patient survival in 22 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated FAM86C2P data layer compared with 1 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher FAM86C2P RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FAM86C2P expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRC and BRCA show a favorable association.

KIRC, STAD, and BRCA are the cancer types where FAM86C2P RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.

RNA survival associations by lineage

Ranked by sampling consensus. AUC1 and AUC2 indicate survival in the high- and low-expression groups, respectively; the lower AUC marks the poorer-surviving group. p-values are from the log-rank test.
