Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FAM78B-AS1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 21 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated FAM78B-AS1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in mesothelioma (MESO), where higher FAM78B-AS1 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FAM78B-AS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CHOL and UCS show a favorable association.

MESO, CHOL, and UCS are the cancer types where FAM78B-AS1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
