Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FAM71D Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated FAM71D data layer compared with 19 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where higher FAM71D Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FAM71D expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
ESCA, UCEC, and LIHC are the cancer types where FAM71D Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
