Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FAM3B Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated FAM3B data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where higher FAM3B Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FAM3B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.
STAD, BLCA, and CESC are the cancer types where FAM3B Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
