Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FAM30B RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 1 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of FAM30B’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in prostate adenocarcinoma (PRAD), where FAM30B RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types FAM30B is over-expressed in tumor.
PRAD are the cancer types where FAM30B tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
