Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FAM236B RNA is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated FAM236B data layer.
The strongest signal is observed in brain lower grade glioma (LGG), where higher FAM236B RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FAM236B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LGG and LAML are the cancer types where FAM236B RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
