FAM234B

Mutation & survival
SurvivalMutationKaplan–Meier · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FAM234B Mutation is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated FAM234B data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where higher FAM234B Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FAM234B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.

ESCA, UCEC, and READ are the cancer types where FAM234B Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.

Mutation survival associations by lineage

Ranked by sampling consensus. AUC1 and AUC2 indicate survival in the high- and low-expression groups, respectively; the lower AUC marks the poorer-surviving group. p-values are from the log-rank test.
