Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FAM228A Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated FAM228A data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in prostate adenocarcinoma (PRAD), where higher FAM228A Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FAM228A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
PRAD and BRCA are the cancer types where FAM228A Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
