Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FAM225A RNA is linked to patient survival in 23 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated FAM225A data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), where higher FAM225A RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FAM225A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCS and SKCM show a favorable association.

ACC, KIRC, and UVM are the cancer types where FAM225A RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
