Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FAM222B Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated FAM222B data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher FAM222B Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FAM222B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
UCEC, LGG, and LIHC are the cancer types where FAM222B Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
