Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FAM219B Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated FAM219B data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher FAM219B Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FAM219B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUSC and SKCM are the cancer types where FAM219B Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
