Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FAM20C Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated FAM20C data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher FAM20C Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FAM20C expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
COAD and UCEC are the cancer types where FAM20C Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
