Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FAM207A Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated FAM207A data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher FAM207A Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FAM207A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
BLCA, HNSC, and UCEC are the cancer types where FAM207A Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
