Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FAM200A RNA is linked to patient survival in 25 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated FAM200A data layer compared with 3 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in cervical squamous cell carcinoma and endocervical adenocarcinoma (CESC), where higher FAM200A RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FAM200A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BRCA and KIRC show a favorable association.
CESC, KICH, and BRCA are the cancer types where FAM200A RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
