The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where higher FAM197Y3 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FAM197Y3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

LIHC, BLCA, and KIRC are the cancer types where FAM197Y3 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
