Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FAM193A Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated FAM193A data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher FAM193A Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FAM193A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and SKCM show a favorable association.
UCEC, LIHC, and PRAD are the cancer types where FAM193A Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
