Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FAM187B RNA is linked to patient survival in 20 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated FAM187B data layer compared with 1 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in cervical squamous cell carcinoma and endocervical adenocarcinoma (CESC), where higher FAM187B RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FAM187B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CESC and BLCA show a favorable association.
CESC, LUSC, and BLCA are the cancer types where FAM187B RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.

Ranked by sampling consensus. AUC1 and AUC2 indicate survival in the high- and low-expression groups, respectively; the lower AUC marks the poorer-surviving group. p-values are from the log-rank test.
