Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FAM174C Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated FAM174C data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), where higher FAM174C Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FAM174C expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
ACC and SKCM are the cancer types where FAM174C Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
