Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FAM174B Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated FAM174B data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher FAM174B Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FAM174B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
HNSC, LUSC, and UCEC are the cancer types where FAM174B Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
