Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FAM170B RNA is linked to patient survival in 20 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated FAM170B data layer compared with 2 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in uterine carcinosarcoma (UCS), where higher FAM170B RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FAM170B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCS and ACC show a favorable association.

UCS, KIRC, and LIHC are the cancer types where FAM170B RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
