Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FAM166A Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated FAM166A data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher FAM166A Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FAM166A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUAD and PRAD are the cancer types where FAM166A Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
