Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FAM163A Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated FAM163A data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in small cell lung cancer (SCLC), where higher FAM163A Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FAM163A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
SCLC, UCEC, and SKCM are the cancer types where FAM163A Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
