Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FAM162A Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated FAM162A data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney chromophobe (KICH), where higher FAM162A Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FAM162A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
KICH, BLCA, and PRAD are the cancer types where FAM162A Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
