Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FAM131B Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated FAM131B data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in small cell lung cancer (SCLC), where higher FAM131B Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FAM131B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
SCLC, SARC, and LIHC are the cancer types where FAM131B Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
