Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FAM122A Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated FAM122A data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher FAM122A Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FAM122A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
UCEC, READ, and HNSC are the cancer types where FAM122A Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
