Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FAM111B Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated FAM111B data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where higher FAM111B Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FAM111B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
LIHC, UCEC, and BLCA are the cancer types where FAM111B Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
