Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FAM110B mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated FAM110B data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 10 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC), where higher FAM110B mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FAM110B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CCRCC and GBM show a favorable association.
CCRCC, GBM, and HNSC are the cancer types where FAM110B mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
